I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but the defender Jose seems to have turned to instead is very cheap.

So much of what Jose's done (especially dropping Terry) has been a signal to Stones. Buying only a cheap defender feels like another one. This guy is a stopgap - and this isn't over.

I can definitely see him leaving this season. And if there's a chance of that, he might not get control of the purse strings in January. At least, not enough to tempt us into selling.

Spurs could have scored six if TH had not been MOTM- it was all over the place the formation of the team is alarming at the moment but, we have to build the team around John Stones!
