I doubt that it was cruciate when he has been operated on that quickly after his injury.
There is usually a gap of several weeks between cruciate injury and operation as the swelling goes down, the knee is left to settle and the medial ligaments(I think) are strengthened.

It looks it’s time for some boosting of knowledge :).
Johan Hammar is a Swedish 18 year old talented defender. To Everton summer 2010 and contracted to the end of 2012. Playing for the U-18 team. Johan comes from Malmo FF (same Swedish club as Zlatan Ibrahimovic came from).
Bonus Info: The name Hammar is Swedish and means…nothing. But the name is quite similar to the Swedish word for hammer, namely: hammare. I believe the historical explanation is that it stands for hammare (hammer). You pronounce the second “aâ€￾ in Hammar with “aâ€￾.

He´s contracted until the summer 2013. A piece of cartilage has been removed from his knee, exactly the same as with Mason Springthorpe. He will probaly be back at the pitch in 5-6 weeks.
