It makes me laugh out loud every time this is mentioned or I think of it.

hes better than the Stek - he was better than the failing Howard for two years that guy should never have been sold a three year deal at his age - I stated it would be RM downfall - he kept ten clean sheets we shot up the league - he is only an good standard keeper, but superior to The Stek - look at last night England game Joe Hart should have saved that first goal it went straight through him - yet because of the win no harm done - that should apply to any keeper -
Not on this forum for a few or RK he immediately dropped Robles who sat for three years to play half a season for a keeper who barely leaves his line like Timmy -Pickford at a cost is a great prospect and has settled in fine, but you need a good no 2 keeper - perhaps now we need to look for that younger keeper - as Robles has never had a chance if you keep ten clean sheets he should have never been dropped for that Burnley mistake - till then he had kept goal very well - up in the top 4 prem keepers averages in which we shot up the league to attain 7th place he commanded his box the defence looked solid -
Pickford is a better keeper at a premium cost fans not just me were hoping it would save us funds to get an outfield player in - we are now lacking a goalscorer as Moshri's money is obviously being saved for the new ground - the argument if he was that good teams would have been in for him can apply to other players who wanted to go if like him they were being messed about by RK it tends to knock value off them -
robles wants to return to Spain come January that will happen, I feel he has been kept as Pickford is a bit injury prone - we will need a better no 2 than the Stek !
Name a another no 2 when he leaves young and up, and coming keeper than your jibes?

If he wants to be a back-up he would have signed that new contract.
At his age he probably chose to go back to his home country spain!
Glad he is here till January if needed he is adequate back up!
That's more positive , but he is untested? any good under 23 is out on loan!

Only one way to get tested Jo-Dawg and I'd prefer him on our bench than Stekface or Joel personally.
He needs a good run of games before he looks anything like a competent GK, and he isn't going to get that here barring injury. I always feel like he's got a mistake in him when he comes in for the odd game here or there, get rid.
Test him in perhaps if we do well in the euro group stages or a league cup match then?
