Player Valuation: £50k
I'll be back in England for the first game of the season - It's been a couple of years since I was last at Goodison and it'll from be a few more years before I'm there again after this trip.

I was looking at the hospitality options and although its pricey I'm considering getting a couple of tickets for me and the missus - 'The Peoples Club' has already sold out, so the next one is 'The Joe Mercer Suite' - works out to be about 350 GBP for the two of us vs about 80 GBP for regular seats - so is it worth it?

On the one hand it would seem obviously not (it doesnt even include scran) - on the other it might just be something a bit special.

Anyone used this lounge before and have any input on which tickets to go for?

so what does it include?

Luxury Directors' Box seating
Cash bar
Complimentary half-time refreshments
Hot and cold food available to purchase
In-lounge betting
Match programme
Team sheet

...tbh - none of which interest me, other than the seats. Seems strange that a meal isn't included when 'the peoples club' is cheaper and does have.

It is a boss experience mate the seats are fantastic. My mum n dad have season tickets there and i went to a few games with the missus last year, the foods great n your just not rushed and i believe you can go there 1 and a half hours before k.o?? Not too sure on that.
In terms of worth, id say yes but then again im not paying 350 everytime i go. Depends whether u prefer the proper footy atmosphere or the quiet chilled family area where u can pre order halftime pints ;)
You sit amongst all the absent players so signature opportunitys are almost definate and you're within spitting distance of Bill.

Food may be great - but it's not even included in the cost~!

...spitting distance of Bill? That's it then, i'm sold. *starts working on a fat greenie for him

I do like the idea of getting there early though, getting some good photos, checking out ex-players (and their tasty wives) and having the best seats/view in the stadium.

...hard to justify the cost though...not sure what to do.

It's your decision. I will say that £350 sounds a lot, especially if the food is on top of that, but if you want a once in a lifetime experience then what you need do is ask yourself if you can afford it, and if so, would you rather spend your money on a day out at GP watching Everton, or in some other way - a weekend away in a hotel, a theatre break or whatever else you enjoy doing. You'll know the answer.

If you do go, I hope we win in style for your sake!

Listen to your head not your heart, its a rip off.
go in the park end and buy yourself a tasteless pint of chang and a 4 quid slice of pizza.

u can sit in my seat for £100, ill bring a a can of coke and a bag of monster munch at half time, ill even put a nice cushion on ya seat, the man to the left is a a chatty guy and the kid to the right has a annoying clap.
