ok,

Neville in midfield. Yes I think he will. He may not be the most gifted of players, but you can't deny his passion, the goal celebration against Villa is what its all about.

Gosling in centre midfield? He apparently has a good partnership with Rodwell, so I would expect both to make an appearance this season.

I would also argue that Gosling is ready for the first team. Hibbert was straight in there wasn't he?

I'd be very very dissapointed if Neville was our starting defensive midfielder next season. I don't mind him at right back as he does a decent job and is certainly better than Hibbert there but in midfield he's useless. You need alot more than passion to play there and I don't think he has the attributes to play there.

I can't see Gosling being our starting right back to be honest. He's inexperienced and right back is not his natural position. I don't think Moyes will use him as anything more than a squad player next year. Maybe in a few years he'll come through but not now.

no well that's fine, but he isn't going to drop his captain is he, so unless he drops Hibbert then he'll be in midfield.

I'd rather drop Hibbert and play Nev at right back. There Moyes gets to keep his captain in the team and Neville is capable of playing right back.

Hibbert is injured though so Neville will definatly be at right back against Blackburn unless we bring someone in.

Bump!

Sunday Mirror reports that Leicester would listen to offers for their England U.21 defender Joe Mattock. Leicester managed to keep Mattock last season and he was a key player in their great 08-09 season.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson could gamble on a sale, which could bring in cash for players in other areas. Mattock would be available for a fee in the region of £1.5 million.

Ipswich has recently been linked with Mattock, but Everton, Liverpool and West Ham could be interested as well after previously been mentioned as a new destination.
