Not the round they in but for the group stage yes.

They might not let Hart go until they have qualified which would make sense despite the huge lead they have.

Once Jasper Cillessen moves to Barcelona I imagine things will speed along pretty quickly.

I am still not sure about taking Hart. Part of me thinks keep going with Stekkers and Robles as back up - saves a hell of a lot of money. If Hart came he would want to be no.1 and Robles would have to moved out.

Tim Howard was good though, I'd happily take the Tim Howard that arrived at Goodison and played years of quality... its the last few years of decline everyone remembers. Before that he was very good.
He was only ever a good keeper never a great keeper certainly not to play in the Prem in his last three years!
Joe Hart if signed should only be chosen on ability any clangers drop him unlike where Timmy just got left in IMO it cost RM his job!

Praise be for that Joey.

still don't understand why city are paying so much for a 33 year old when hart isn't exactly awful.

Because:

A - They can.
B - Hart is awful at being part of a back line that Guardiola wants to start attacks from with the ball at feet.

So he's not a good goalkeeper in the eyes of Guardiola; that doesn't mean he's not actually a good goalkeeper though.

I don't understand Guardiola on this one, as City have hardly been hoofball merchants during their oil fueled Renaissance, during which Hart has been a virtual ever present. Personally I think Guardiola is a beaut

Yes but the first season under RM all blues fans were not saying that record points etc, but I agree with our defensive frailties, and Timmy in goal that season it should have been top four!

For me regardless of many folk the first season was good with certain players pulled in but had the foundations built by DM which RM eventually chucked out for tika taka.
