Can only see City bringing in Leno as doubt they could attract Ter Stegen. I would love Hart, adds to the English quota and is still at a decent age/top class.

Of course, goes without saying, also a lot of people basing it on the fact he's got crap hair or he shouts too much. He's a good keeper and a massive upgrade on anything we have had for years and people are turning their nose up.

We finished 11th x 2, I'd say we would be lucky to attract a keeper of his standing. I think the thought of new money is going to heads a bit.
That's just adds to the argument.

But personally think he's on the decline and is nothing special, has a lot of mistakes in him. On loan acceptable but when you see the fees and wages touted about for a permanent transfer, think most against this move are mainly thinking there must be better value out there

If a deal can be agreed to suit all parties then yes.

Moshiri wants a statement signing be that for marketing our profile or not he would be a big name.

Ibrahimovic was a marketing signing for Man U. He could help us attract the level of sponsorship we require going forward. More to football than just the match day in this day and age.

Have a look through your comments over Bolasie, now Hart, no doubt Gueye.

Might be a douche, whatever that is but I am looking forward to a great season with some great new faces
Perfectly justified, I'm not going to start fapping with joy over us blowing 25 mil on such an inconsistent, erratic player. I like many are rightly perplexed by that move

To be honest mate, I'm struggling to understand what constitutes value in this market.

I am also concerned over the money side.....But as we have it now, and Koeman seems to rate the guy.

Also seems to rip Coleman a new backside when we play Palace same for the RS, this is a great move....

Well concerning Calamity Joe Hart, across various threads I have given me head a wobble, talked to meself in the mirror and I still don't want him. It's not because of his hair or his swollen head it's because he's not remotely consistent enough to be a "great" goalie. After England's performance I'd rather have the minimum English players in anyway.

I have to say I usually have a chuckle to myself when players are mentioned on here as possible transfers, you get the "if they aren't good enough for so and so then they aren't good enough for us" or "gash" or "didn't his second cousin's wife's mother say something bad about us" but in the case of Hart I tend to agree with the bad stuff.

On a loan, yes - at least we can see how he performs before splashing the cash. Too much of a risk as a straight signing with a big fee though.
