Hey, you're right, maybe when they asked him "do you have interest in signing Joe Hart" he said no because they had already signed him and didnt want to sign him again. He had to work really hard to keep his giggles in each time, and then immediately after the questioning walked into the hallway and had a good laugh with Erwin.
Haha!

Plenty out there better than this overated player tapper mate.
Trust Pep on this one...

Hopefully we find one mate, personally wouldn't feel too confident with Stek & Joel. Hopefully Stek proves me wrong, just remember seeing a few clangers in the last few years.

Same here, did very well in his first matches, but wouldn't feel overly confident playing out the rest of the season with him as our first choice goalkeeper.

I'd laugh if we went and signed him after what the boss said.

I think Koeman doesn't like those press conferences so he just tells them anything. Either way, he'll have something up his sleeve.

From City's viewpoint, there are not many compelling reasons to keep Hart around this year.

Advantages to keeping Hart:
1) You have a good, experienced keeper in case an injury or two occurs.
2) Hart may embrace his role as a cheerleader and improve team morale.
3) You don't show weakness by selling him off for cheaper than you want.

Disadvantages to keeping Hart:
1) You're paying £7 million to a 3rd string keeper whom you'll likely never use
2) Hart's value will drop lower than it is now due to rust and him being out of the public eye for a year
3) Hart's value will then potentially collapse if/when he loses his spot on the England national team
4) After Hart's value has cratered, City will have a much harder time getting anything for him in future years
5) Hart is likely to become impatient and frustrated at his lack of activity and as he watches his career and reputation go down the tubes. That could lead to major problems in the dressing room.

I think there's no question that City will want to get rid of Hart. It just remains to be seen if another club will offer what City want or if they have to drop their asking price. If they do that, I fully expect that Everton may suddenly become interested again.
