Before pre-season it would have been a resounding yes but after watching Stekelenburg I don't feel it's such a necessity as other areas, ie another top class midfielder, striker and RB

A season long loan would be a more attractive idea for me at the minute. It'll allow us to properly scout any potential keeper targets over the course of a full season.

I'd have no problems us signing him permanently, but I think he'd end up costing more than he's actually worth. Plus he'd need to him off those awful adverts.

To be honest though, after yesterday's game I wouldn't mind seeing Steklenberg in, at least up until deadline day to give him a chance to be no.1 for the season.
