Let’s say your right, and Biden’s in cognitive decline (you’re not, but let’s say for the sake of argument that you are.)

Let’s say you’re also right and that Trump is in full control of his faculties (you’re not, but let’s say for the sake of argument that you are).

So the choice becomes:

Someone who, in their age-addled stupor, wants to (among other things)
  • increase accessibility to healthcare,
  • take steps to ensure less people die in mass shootings,
  • put together a coherent plan to manage a global pandemic,
  • implement a program that will both create jobs and massively reduce the damage the US is doing to the environment,
  • ensure that it’s easier for more people to participate in democracy,
  • ensure that minorities of various types have the same rights as straight, able bodied white people
Or, someone who, clear of mind and thought, thinks it’s a good idea to:
  • Stoke racial division and hatred at one of the most racially sensitive times in recent history
  • Call actual Nazi’s “very fine people”
  • Break the law repeatedly to either enrich himself or improve his chances of re-election
  • Seek and accept help from foreign governments in smearing his political opponents
  • Ignore a pandemic that’s killing ~1000 per day when it becomes inconvenient to his prospects
  • Suggest that people ingest or inject bleach or “light” to cure said disease
  • Explode the deficit by giving a massive tax cut to the super wealthy while 1 in 5 kids in the country lives in poverty
  • Denigrate ANYONE who doesn’t agree with him (including political allies and opponents, the free press, and families of service members killed while fighting for their country)
  • Lie of a daily basis (over 20,000 since taking office)
  • Lock children in cages AS A MATTER OF COURSE, with absolutely no coherent plan on how to reunite them with their families
  • Fearmonger and incite his devoted base to the point where they take up arms against their fellow citizens and his political adversaries, with devastating, deadly consequences
It’s SUCH a tough call

You know you are wasting your time. It's just like trying to explain something to Trump he won't get it nor will he care to try.

Dunno I gave up trying. He's clearly on a wind up. Given that he never sees bad in anything Trump does. He likes to constantly remind people that he was the only one who predicted correctly back in 2016. Even though he was on a wind up then too. You would be better off talking to the border wall.

For someone on a wind up he's remarkably unfunny. I do wonder what drives people to behave this way. Same with the 'undercover' Kopites on here, it must just be attention seeking.

Finners ploughed all his support into Trump initially and is now too proud to admit he was wrong. He's too close to the island to swim back, but I suspect privately he sees the same clueless donkey we all do when we look at Trump
 
A good post conference bounce for Trump, the gap is closed to 7.1 (closest it's been since early June).

1.5% swing in 3 days which is quite signfiicant. If he goes another 1.5% ove rthe next week or so, I think pressure will start to be felt by Biden.

That being said, Trump was expected to have some bounce and to tighten the race. The question really is how much this tightening an continue,
