Got that in the back of my mind tbh. He didn't offer much for City and I watched him when he played to see what we missed last year. Not to leave it to your imagination but I was amused a fair bit we didn't pull the strings on him. I'm still hopefully he will get a new lease on life at Goodison.

Brilliant signing - I have a good feeling about this one...
Seems a very pleasant lad on the EvertonTV interview, doesn't give the impression of being up himself at all.
what people always forget in situations like this is the lad is 21, hes been in this country 7 months and hasnt started a game since october.
He was absolutely smashing them in for cska and if he can get some confidence back im sure he will find his feet.

i think its a sign of the times tbh that people expect instant results, and this at a time when very young lads are taken across the world and given more money than could ever be imagined.
as an example i will use mashed potato.
in the olden days you would sow a seed wait for it to mature, then when ready take it from the ground and use it to make your lovely pan of mash.
then everything changed for the worse with instant mash, no texture but ready in a jiffy with hardly any wait.
people expect instant results these days and dont want to wait while the player grows into the team.
having said that, he better destroy bolton and the rest, as we already have vdm with the motto "get smashed"
