if he's fit...Everton don't have the luxury of waiting for players(assets) to mature, particularly if he's on high wages, though this said, I think with Yak going off to do some national duties he'll get a decent run in the team to prove himself.

With regard to how much we are paying City i can tell you that we are paying no loan fee, no wages....nothing, zilch. This is how much they want him off their books. A deal has already been fixed for £11 million at he end of the season but we are not taking up that option. The part that worries me is that yet again he is a square peg in a round hole. He prefers to play behind the main striker and link up play. Moyes will never play him there so we will never see the best of him. Pity as i think he is quite talented.It depends how much we are paying for him really. If he is on a pretty big wage, which could potentially fund a loan signing that is going to be far more useful to us, then we would be right to try and send him back. Considering our current predicament we can't afford to keep him just to be nice and uphold our reputation as a 'family' club.
