Think he should move McNeil back to left and try Ndiaye at 10 and lindstrom on the right. See if that can improve the forward play.

Id have all 3 rotating during games.

Second option would be Lindstom and Ndiaye rotating.

I think Mangala & Gana look like a very pedestrian centre -- once the ball is past Mangala he's useless. Basically a lamppost.

Doucoure / McNeil just dont have the Xfactor to be in the 10 position. We need cutting edge.

Onana much better for Villa under Unai Emery.
Gordon flying at Newcastle under Eddie Howe.

Marvelous what good coaching can do.

Iwobi had 8 assists in his last Everton season. He was also coached by Ancelloti, he's a pretty good coach.
Onana isn't finishing matches as pointed out above.
Gordon was 21 when he left, I would hope he gets better.

The above isn't a defense of the coaching received post-Ancelloti, more of an indictment of the players we've had.

McNeil LWB & Patterson RWB are best fit out of what we have.
The two in midfield would be as is, though they’re not enough…. But that’s practically how it is in our 4-5-1.

Those 3 look to be playing a lot bette for their new teams than they did here was my point.

I'le never forget the amount of times Iwobi stunk the gaff out , Onana didn't seem to figure in Dyches plans & Gordon is now way better than he was here.
