God Benfrey
Player Valuation: £8m
His energy down that right flank was infectious and his delivery today was causing massive issues, could of easily walked away with 3 assists
Nice having a manager who has played European talent isn't itYup he played the semi final v them, Moyes is joking with him about it in one of the vids of training
Think that's what Moyes does well. Takes players to another level and they thank him for it and it builds a unity. Players wanna fight for him and the shirt. They have a bad game they know they can do better.I think Moyes has put an arm around the lad and told him what he’s capable of and he has a place in this team. Let’s see how he goes in the next few games, he was very good today.
I thought he had a good game, and I like his attitude. The ‘I always knew he was boss’ are a bit premature but it’d be great if he can carry on like that for the rest of the season.
He is playing right side but to call him a winger is an injustice to Lindstrom. He isn't great and taking defenders on but what he does have is speed of thought. Some of his passing is crisp and fast, exploiting space is a strength but taking players on isn't. I don't mind him playing on the right as long as he is supported....he was today so no surprise to class it as his best game. We still need a pacey right winger able to take on players and Lindstrom could maybe move to attacking midfield (Could also be Illiman) in place of Doucs. Getting a right/left winger gives us better options going forward and also a replacement for Doucs in either Illiman or Lindstrom
Strong game today, Moyes has singled him out a fair bit when talking
Or even inverted wingers, like Moyes prefers?Think both Ndiaye and Lindstrom aren't true number 10s, both on opposite sides are best in that half space, wide forwards so to speak.
