I honestly don't see it mate. I want to believe these players are good enough but I can't.

At times like these, we'll cling onto anything. A decent ball into the box, doing the hard graft and tracking back... Type of things other clubs' fans wouldn't even notice has us creating a narrative that players are on the verge of finding form.

Like you I just can't see it. My only hope is that Moyes managed to turn some players' careers round a long time ago. Maybe it could happen here. Again though, clutching at straws.

Not in those exact words but the posts I was referring to were extolling his virtues and doing a lot more than just saying ‘he’s probably better than Harrison’. I hadn’t clocked when I posted that they’re pretty much all from one poster who’s been acting like his agent since he got here to be fair.
