Jamo Martinez

Player Valuation: £70m
According to the guardian The fat one may be looking to offload him in January. Seems like Bently in that he's got an attitude like someone else's fart, and he's a bit inconsistant. On the other hand definitely a talented lad. Could come at a reasonable price as he's out of contract at the end of the season, and may be just what we are lacking to give us another dimension. Like McFadden but faster and not as likeable

Might be worth a try. He's 25 and has a fair goalscoring record. Possibly a free agent at end of season depending on appearances so maybe not too expensive. If he comes to us and does well it will pee off the neighbours as well.

He has a reputation for his attitude, if DM could sort him out I'd be happy to have him at the club.

nah. he's ok on his day but too inconsistent. save the wages and the hassle. can't see anything new that he'd bring to the team.

He's a natual, solid, right winger. Good pacey wingers are hard to come by IMO, and if they are they cost a bomb.

Some [Poor language removed] fans still rate him being he's their only genuine right winger but is always second fiddle to Kuyt.

£5mill aint much (or whatever's been branded), and he's a good player to give us some depth (pushing Arteta into the middle) in the midfield.

But then again I rate Kieran Richardson as a good winger too so read into that what you may hahaha

This

He was good at times at L'pool coming off the bench, but don't think he's someone who can be a consistent starting eleven-player all season. I'd have Pienaar over him any day (although he's not really a winger)

Remember the hype around Wayne Routledge?

I liked Simon Jordons review of him;

"When Spurs came knocking I told Wayne to stay and learn his trade at Palace,"

"But he went, he grabbed the money, and now he's at Villa not getting in the first team, just like he didn't get in the Spurs team, just like he didn't get in the Portsmouth team and just like he didn't get in the Fulham team."

quality player, and we lack that width. i'd say yes considering he would cost next to nothing

Whilst learning his trade with us, after having made a handful of (pretty good ,to be fair) appearances, he was on £12k per week. Frankly I don't know how he managed.
We got absolutely stuffed over Bostock, which was the direct result of his agent whispering in his and, more importantly, his Selhurst season ticket carrying fathers ear. In the fish or food conundrum, we are definitely the plankton.
