Ace, we haven't had a striker doing a back flip when he scores since Bakayoko and Beagrie!

...this fella looks more like a replacement.

anyone fancy berbatov?
relatively cheap, can make his own chances and with wingers like mirallas, pienaar and deulofeu he's bound to score goals. obviously has a bit of an attitude problem but i think he'd fit in our team and more importantly our style of play seamlessly

One thing is for sure..... no way would we let him leave and not bring in an a more suitable replacement. Its obvious that bobby didn't rate him enough for this style of formation.

So there must be an agreement in place already for someone surely. My only concern with that is, why does it have to be after niki leaves to announce it. Can anyone shed some light into why this would be. ??

Because the EFC board don't have enough money to spend 1st and worry about recouping later. We need to get our business done first so we know how much we can spend, instead of having a decent pot of cash to start with.

Also can't bring people in without removing the big wages first. I am fine with that and trust Bobby to do the business.

I really think Martinez needs to invest wisely and get a striker that will replace lukaku after he's gone . Get him settled in and when summer comes he can lead the line . Kone will be back in the summer so we should then try and find a young promising striker for the future . Would of like berinho from WBA but he's signed a new contract

Just woke up mate and whilst I know this, I was hoping I'd missed something and another reason was behind it.

Also, when negotiating with Hull the club is in a stronger bargaining position if they are legitimately saying "we don't need or really want to sell him as we will need a replacement"

whose that Belgian at Standard LIege? Looks a like-for-like for Lukaku. I think Bobby will go for a loan TBH. If Chelsea spaz 40m on a striker in Jan, then it'll [Poor language removed] Lukaku and he might want to stay in Bobby's warm bossom
