I think we can manage without Gibson and Jela for a few games but as everyone'll agree both are very important players for us so hope we get them back on the pitch soon.

Agreed. My worry is drawing against Swansea and/or Southampton instead of winning because of missing these players.

mirallas and naismith can both play up front. I would go for these options above Vellios any day of the week. I think Vic deserves a chance if Jelavic is out, his performance on monday warrants it, dropping him will shatter his confidence even more.
