Daily rags, Daily Express and the times are reporting that Everton and Blackburn are trying to sign him on loan from Barcelona.

It is reported that Blackburn Rovers are in a battle with Everton FC for Barcelona midfielder Jeffren Suarez.

The Daily Mail claims Sam Allardyce and David Moyes are both keen on the Spanish winger.

22-year-old Jeffren is a Spain youth international, despite his Venezuelan background, and is out of contract at the Catalan club this summer.

In 2006 at the age of 18 he made his first-team debut for the La Liga side in the Copa del Rey.

most likely yes

Saw him last summer. Has a lot of physical similarities to Donovan. Quick, good finisher. When I saw this I immediately thought it makes sense from a financial perspective. Donovan goes in March, by then Suarez is bedded in the team and comfortable. If things go well, get him for free in the summer. If it doesn't, then reconsider a bid for Donovan.

It would be nice if things worked so logically in the wacky world of Blue. Things making sense, that's boring

David Moyes admits he is unlikely to do any further business during the January transfer window despite maintaining an interest in a number of targets.
The Goodison chief has completed loan deals for Landon Donovan and Philippe Senderos this month – whilst Jo and Lucas Neill have departed.
The manager is satisfied with the business he has carried out and he believes the return to fitness of a number of long-term absentees has eased the necessity to boost squad numbers.
"I don't think I'll be busy," Moyes told evertonTV. "But I've got one or two things I can do if I need to. I have one or two loans signings that I could bring in if I want to.
"I want to try and make sure that if we do bring anyone in, it's the right one and it's of value for us. I don't just want to bring somebody in to add to the numbers - because that's not what I think we need.
"Numbers are improving with injured players coming back. And if I was going to bring somebody in, I would like it to be somebody of quality who could add something to the team."
