I just meant that, given he is an employee of a business that has publicly denounced Russia's actions, supported their Ukranian player and suspended financial ties to anything Russia related, it's not outside the realms of possibility one or two idiots take issue with this and decide to act on it?

No but he is an employee of a club that has taken a public pro-Ukrainian stance and he'll be living in a city with and playing in front of thousands of people who will have family members currently killing Ukrainians and being killed by Ukranians.
It's not a stretch to assume there will be some idiots in Moscow who won't be wishing him well.

Given his injury history, putting him on a football pitch is the biggest risk to his personal safety.

I think that there is a chance, say 25%, that he plays well enough to get a second chance here. He needs
