....a quad muscle injury is an odd one and I suggest it’s a sign of fatigue, probably doing too much too soon. I think it’s the ‘kicking’ muscle at the front of the thigh, and whilst it could take a while to recover, it’s better than a hamstring tear.

Not good.

....and yet we're all baying for Silva to play all the new boys 90 minutes.

yes, I count myself in that number
 
Bully smells a rat.

Maybe the lad wants out and the club have given him an excuse not to play.

Failed drugs test could be another possibility.

Or as someone says the club have realised he isn’t up to standard like Koldrop.
 
Always a little suspicious of these suspected injuries,remember Niasse and the hand injury,even years ago kroldrup?the club know a lad is struggling to adapt so take him out of the firing line?hmmm,maybe I'm getting too cynical in my old age!!

Good point Dario. But if that were true I wouldn't have expected them to choose an unusual injury like a quad injury, but a hamstring strain or groin strain, something pedestrian
