Still looked a yard off pace and in the mind when he had possession but not a bad home debut. Can see him being a big player for us eventually.

I wouldn't go that far personally. I think his passing wasn't great today which is fair enough given the circumstances. It is very encouraging he was going for those passes in the first place though. A bit more sharpness and hopefully he'll be pulling them off.

I felt that it was literally a foot ahead of players but that should improve as he gets to know his teammates
