He seems to get tackled an awful lot.

Hard to base an opinion on a defensive midfielder on a youtube video though. It is as much about what they do off the ball than on it in that position. We'll soon find out, hopefully proves a good addition

Most opinions of obscure foreign players are based on very little evidence, but despite that there is nowt wrong with saying what you think. It will almost always be a gamble because Everton are not among the few clubs who attract top class players. The jury on this fella will stay out until he has completed a lot of PL games. Let us hope and fingers crossed that he doesn't end up in the bin containing the likes of Besic and company.

He can definitely tackle. Doesn't go to ground too often, though, he just knocks people off the ball. He's very strong.

Any stats you have to factor in the fact that he was playing mostly CM this past season and I don't believe he'll play there for us. He's a true defensive mid that will sit behind Gomes and shield the back line. His passing range is outstanding. He can take the occasional long shot, too.

He's still got some things to learn at DM IMO, but he's pretty darn good already. He seems like a good fit in terms of where he looks comfortable on the pitch.
