He"s sacked in the sax and now plays a Japanese flute, it's lovely


I love this album, he is an incredible musician

He was interviewed on Gilles Peterson’s 6 Music show the other week explaining why he switched from the sax to the flute and talking about his flute collection. It really is worth a listen

cool, i didn't know about that interview so will have a look for it.

I agree, he is great - all this bands during his sax time were brilliant.
 
So, it's 2024, I'm driving around listening to Spotify send me things it knows I will like, and this shows up. Why haven't I found this until now? This is just next to perfection.
