Unfortunately the England manager doesn't rate him as highly as you do, and the only club interested in buying him so far is a Manchester United side who are in dire financial straits and languishing in the bottom half of the league, so I don't think it's a hugely controversial opinion to say I think he's a good player but overhyped at the moment.

I think it’s as simple as the English football media is absolutely RS - centric, think of anything you watch - there is one banging on about them, same in the print media, same from their internal comms and they all back each other up.

It’s massively influential, they are going to win the league in pens - because of Coote, make no mistake about the lobby is influential and I think institutions fear them.

Here we have a New England manager wanting to keep the right side of the media, does he pick the Everton lad or the lad who plays from the club who is represented by he above lobby.

But Everton is a great place to be. He’s learning under a manager now who has developed many defenders into great internationals. Right now Rice and Pickford started under Moyes.

Yup. He’s a clever boy and left once he knew he couldn’t go any further at West Ham.

Branthwaite can achieve a lot here and potentially move to one of Europe’s top clubs at the end of it. If we continue to make progress he may even choose to spend his career here at one of the biggest teams in the country.
