Though i am happy he didnt play - due to not wanting him to pick up an injury. I never see the point in managers doing this to not even give them a minute. No doubt the player himself would say it's a good experience and so on. But it's travel and co he's had to do when he could have been doing probably light training at FF, till all the players had came back from International Duty. Suppose in the other way he may have trained hard with England. So keeps him in the right frame of mind game wise etc

Incredible that he didn't get any minutes at all in two friendlies. No chance he gets a Euro 2024 call now on the back of that. Not the worst from Everton's perspective, but awful for Jarrad.

Southgate should be playing stones and Branthwaite together as often as possible for England. Stones might only have one more tournament left with his injury record and I think it would be a shame if these 2 players end up missing each other because Southgate would rather play Maguire and Dunk.
