Horses for courses. Michael Keane - who is a walking disaster - is actually a very good backs-to-the-wall defender and perfect for us in matches against sides like United where we will have a minority of the ball and will be defending our six-yard box.

Our problem with Keane would be in matches against the likes of Leicester who will have less ball than United and will seek to hit us on the break with pace. Then, Keane should be put into cold storage.

Keane will be fine for matches against Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Sure if we weren’t in the position we are then Keane would have been punted into orbit by now for this lad.

Very unlucky to be dropped on sat but he should definitely be in the starting 11 for preseason, no matter what happens.
