Ok I was a bit frustrated by him tonight, We needed some natural width and a natural left footer playing there tonight. I just wanted more from him but Trippier had him in his pocket.

He didn't look anywhere near ready. Keane and Holgate are terrible too though. Basically a no win scenario whoever we put in at centre half right now.

We know ourselves from when Goodison is bouncing how the crowd feeds off moments like that. It completely lifted them and demoralised us.

Not sure how anyone watched the match yesterday and thought this kid is what we need right now. He looked absolutely petrified passing the ball more than 2 yards. He may turn out to be a good player but he does not look ready. This is not the time to play him and possibly destroy what little confidence he has.

Talk about baptism of fire, thrown into a scrap where everything he had been told would and should of happened didn't. When he looked around for leadership he saw only his own reflection in the fearful eyes of those around him. It could well be the making of him in the long run, just hope it isn't too long, we are running out of time!
