January Transfer Window 2026

True Rita but Chelsea are a lot better than Spurs
They said Gareth Barry was washed up at city. They said Richard Gough couldn't cut it anymore. They wondered why saf was prepared to let Kanchelskis go. They said Arteta was moody and couldn't hack the PL. Sometimes players fit or don't and pastures new can be a second lease of life. Garner is an all to rare example of the east lancs working in our favour.

Be silly to spend £35m on a player who doesn’t get into the side, even if hes rapid

We're not spending on him, would you have said this on saturday or tonight.

We have much higher priorities, but if we went for a player that would improve our squad and you said no, when injuries /suspensions kick in, I wonder what you would be complaining about..

We spent a sizeable chunk on a RWer in the summer.

We currently have 4 other players in addition to Dibling who play/can play in the wide areas.

I’m almost certain we wouldn’t pay £35m whilst full back, CF and CM need improvement.

I wonder if we can get him on loan with an obligation to loan with an option to buy followed buy an obligation to loan. Then we patiently wait until he's 34 and then whack 40m on him in true Everton fashion.

In a position we don't need.

Depends if he’s a long term target or not.

It’s possible that in the summer we could see McNeil leave and perhaps Grealish if we can’t sort a deal. That would leave us with Dibling and Ndiaye as wide options. Ndiaye may attract interest as well.

We do need more pace in the team and will need wide players this summer. I don’t think Brennan Johnson is the answer and certainly not at that price but wouldn’t surprise me to see another wide player come in.

We’ve been quite fortuitous this season to have Ndiaye and Grealish available nearly every game.

If Spurs have agreed a £35m deal, they aren’t interested in a loan.

He does tick boxes though. Quick, young, British, PL experience and can play a few different positions. His goal record as a CF is decent too.

Hello fellow transfer enthusiasts. I have awoken from my transfer slumbers to find out which players are coming in because surely the mighty Everton have identified the paucity of the squad at full back and scoring striker positions. Will they be announced on Jan 1st?

Then just to wait for a maverick out if the blue signing on deadline day.
