They probably would be in other leagues though, which is why don’t want any forwards without PL experience. We’ve had so many failures that way.

Unfortunately we have the most fickle fanbase around, and this is what they want.
By the time the window opens they will have forgotten this fella and moved onto whoever scores a couple in Jan.

We need to by PL experience, rather than foreign flops which we’ve done for the last 10 years.

One thing I like about the lad is that he didn't just hang about the English leagues after he left Tottenham. He went to a different league with a different culture and has done well. It's a big step up from the Dutch league to the PL so I'm not saying this guy's the answer but I like his attitude and he'll be full of confidence so I'm not totally opposed to the idea.
