January Transfer Window 2026

done it. Did he get found guilty of those accusations? I take it you don’t like Duncan Ferguson then and have never sang his name or praised him?
'Did he get found guilty?' It's literally all recorded on audio and video you dunce. Inexcusable and unforgivable. There's enough football players in the world that there is absolutely 0 reason to consider staining the club with any association to Greenwood.

He's a rapist and a woman beater, 2 accusations that could not be levelled at Dunc so not sure why you're bringing his name into it.

Beyond depressing that this conversation comes up in every transfer thread like clockwork.

To be fair the evidence is very clear that these sorts of abuses are almost never one-offs.
But that generalisation. Every human has different levels of remorse and correcting their ills. Unless we're advocating life imprisonment for all sexual predators then you have to trust the criminal justice system and the experts involved. There's no point commenting on individuals without the full knowledge of their rehabilitation

The Coventry RB who we could have got for 10 mil in summer Milan van Ewijk, on 5 assists already. Was a no brainier
Should have had more options ready to go esp with tete deal over early in the window. Is why the window was ok\good felt like other windows in the past recruitment team left us short again. Not even just the fb problems we have still have lack of pace and well still not fixed the lack of goals

Weren’t you the one who mentioned rehabilitation a few days ago when advocating signing him yet hve no idea of any rehabilitation he has or hasn’t done? You seem to be happy to comment on this individual without full knowledge.

The fact that him being linked causes this split (even though it’s a minority who seem to want him despite listening to the recordings) is a clear sign to just avoid him regardless.

I've never suggested signing him that was someone else. I merely questioned how as a society we treat people who are rebuilding their lives after a misdemeanor. Do we forever treat them as scum on a previous sin or do we see them for how they are at the current time in their lives? If we don't forgive then shouldn't we just throw them in jail for lost and never accept them in society again?

He is back playing professional football mate .. he is not suffering too much.
But as a club the vast majority think that signing him would be a horrible decision. He was shown to be an odious individual.. Having him here would be an insult to our fan base especially to our female supporters.
