January Transfer Window 2026

Why should we be excited for a young player that no one has ever really seen play and rides the bench and if hes good, leaves in 6 months??? That is the epitome of low frikking standards...NSNO my arse.
Speak for yourself. I've seen him play, I like the player and like the signing. If he's good we have an option to buy for supposedly a good price.

As I said, should be enjoying what imo is a good signing but instead people are fuming over McNeil. I'm fuming because we've not signed a fullback again. Disappointing window. George is a positive though.

I am speaking for myself, arent we all?? I hope he gets a chance to play, i hope he gets a chance to play in his best position and I hope he gets a chance to play without being told his first responsibility is to help out the fb. We can always hope:)

Can’t help but feel we only went for George because of the Grealish injury. Ae haven’t really strengthened apart from the Armstrong recall as Grealish won’t play again for us this season so it’s effectively a departure.

We needed to buy George whilst keeping a fit Grealish as it gave us a bette option than McNeil out wide and a third choice striker.

But really we should have bought a right back as well.
