i don’t buy this rationale the season is over
and regardless of whether we can make europe, the team exists to compete in football matches, and its a new era for the club, i actually think it is important that we finish as high up the table as possible and carry momentum into new season, even if theres no extra gain (besides prize money ) for finishing 9th over say 14th
it sets a precedent , so some minimal investment would go a long way
I’m not saying break the bank this window cos i don’t think thats wise either, but some low cost and/or short term additions at both full back positions and centre forward would be a huge boost

Seeing as being 6pts from safety in December with a injury decimated squad obviously isnt good enough.
Also i do love the fact you complain about a strawman argument when you cherry picked a small part of the discussion and ignore the other 90% with a dismissive comment. That doesn nothing to provide any actual discussion on the subject. Just insubstantial name calling.
