We need those younger players to massively develop and to sign some key players.

If Garner is starting CM for us after another two summer windows something has gone deeply wrong.

For the sake of playing devil's avocado... the club might say we've got 4 perfectly capable full backs on the books in Coleman, Patterson, Mykolenko, Anzou plus Garner and O'Brien can play there so six players for two positions for a team that plays once a week equals not a necessity to address.

In other words, much like having a quality striker, it's something the club might feel they can kick down the road for another day. Again.

And i guess if we had a competent striker it would dampen the urgency of the full backs position's. Have to go all out in Jan for someone because European spots are there for us.

We absolutely do need a good striker and have for years, but who knows what -if any- budget will even be available in the window given how much we spent in the summer. Plus, anyone who has a goal scoring No9 isn't going to be selling them mid season, which makes it even more tricky.

It would be nice to have two top quality fullbacks, but they wont count for much if no one can actually put the ball in the back of the net. I doubt either area will be addressed until the summer.

what attitude? he’s not even been playing properly ( to his strengths or ours yet )

Why? If he continues on his current trajectory he'll likely be here for a long time unless someone else turns his head..

I could understand Barry not being up to Prem speed yet, but the lad doesn't even look overly interested when he's on the pitch. Maybe that's just his natural demeanour but he doesn't even look like he cares or wants to be there, he just runs around looking like he's got no clue what he's supposed to do. Early days but it's hardly good signs so far.

I love him as a flexible squad player but he simply cannot pass forwards through the lines and that limits our ceiling soooo much when he's the starting deeper midfielder. Limits us a lot.

Were not getting another striker in January imo.

No one will loan us anything better then what we have and to buy anyone better then what we have will cost us £50m+ which we wont be spending in January on one player.

Maybe but world cup year players will want to be starting a player like jesus at arsenal might be available. Esp how the other cf have been performing so far would be shocked if the club was not looking. Also still feel will be pushing sales of mcneil patterson ect to give us more cash to spend

Would be peak Everton to rotate out our two strikers who can't score a goal for a guy who has spent the last two years on the injury table
