The article in the DM sounds like a rehash of Paddy Boyland’s take on the position about us wanting a deal before Jan or we use the option to extend. It’s just they’ve added in a club. That’s been a link for a while.

Classic NEXT summer despite us having an option on his contract

He is in his last 18 months so his agent is hyping up the contract talks.

I still don't know who fans don't figure out that sport newspapers journos run on rumours, hints and lies.

He will sign his contract because he is a good player but not a great player.

Garner does not start in any team that is challenging for the top 6-7, or let's say the typical teams you'd associate with those positions. He's a solid player, but not spectacular. Everton is his level.

Seen a few links that say we are watching this guy (Toni Fruk) He is Croatian midfielder who still plays over there and he has been linked to some of the big boys previously like Arsenal.

Thats a strange display of ‘Elegance’? He seems more frantic, all-action? My idea of elegance is Dobbo, Colin Bell etc. they seemed to glide cross the pitch.

The things I hate most about the transfer windows is those who either post rumours that they've "heard", without naming names or those who post fantasy wish lists.

I always hope to come on here and see genuinely sourced names that can then be discussed, but I know I'll be disappointed by the usual scaremongering posters saying"Moyes wants Souchek", when there is no basis in fact

While I do agree, he does improve United midfield. I don’t think he’d entertain going back there.
