January Transfer Window 2026

Beto never seemed to have much of a problem last season, he linked up with Alcaraz well at times. We do need better than the current two.

If Moyes wants to persist with Barry, than Beto has to be out the door ASAP.
You need competition, knowing you're fighting for your spot. Holding Beto is just making it too comfortable for Barry.

Wolves know they are heading down, no-one will match the release clause of Strand Larson, they would be better cashing in now.

Get 10m for beto and stick a bid in.

Maybe at a stretch Keane but I reckon Gana is gone especially after what has happened this season. We have to move on from some of these guys at some point its just lazy not too.

Agree not saying that will be first 11 players just takes off the pressure of new players. Think both be good options want see us looking for players for the future at cb with tark getting older two maybe armstrong will get a higher level loan maybe prem or in the first team rotated out. Will be good to watch what we do

We've got Branthwaite, O'Brien, Tarkowski & Keane as CBs.

Moyes never had an issue keeping and using experienced centre backs so I think he'll give Keane a new contract.

Agree on names for us to progress but that leaves us needing c10 new players again. I think it’ll take 2 summers for this but this all depends upon where we finish, I guess

We need 2 right backs. One starter and a young player with high potential for competition.

We need an upgrade on Mykolenko but who knows if thats Aznou?

We need an upgrade on Beto. Both Mykolenko (one year option) and Beto will have a year left on their deals so decisions need to be made pronto.

Up to 3 right backs and a centre forward are needed and we move out Beto, Patterson, Coleman, Mykolenko for them. So thats 4 out and 3 in.

We also need to sell McNeil and sign another wide player. That will depend on Grealish staying and whether hes LW or a 10 going forward because thats Ndiayes best position at LW.

If we do that then there would be major benefits already without massively selling players...though Rohl is a big concern and Alcaraz too with Moyes.

Zat….who on earth is going to spend money on Seamus? Been brilliant but is now about 80.

He had Cunha & Ait Nouri laying on chances for him and without them hes massively dropped off.

Seems to score goals though but its a risk. I think we need a level or two above.

Strand Larsen is crazily overpriced though and let's be honest we don't even know how good he is do we

Why are you so intent on selling Rohl ?

I understand we haven’t seen much of him due to injuries which is a concern but he does look like he has something about him. Especially pace which we’ve been crying for…

Let him be, he only ever comes alive in these transfer threads and where else can he share his knowledge of the world U17 year old players he'd sell our entire squad and replace with?

Players are all always a gamble to an extent, especially strikers.
I haven't really seen much of him this season, but his actual all-round game last year didn't look like something you lose.
Wing backs are a massive priority for us, but a silly offer to a team that are realistically already accepting Championship football, wouldn't be a bad gamble.

It wont happen though, and he's already taken up to much of my Christmas typing and your reading.

I wouldn't say no though, if it was an option.

Wing backs, Grealish, KDH, Illy,
Not bad players to supply chances.

Along as Moyes is here , we're not selling Rohl , Moyes constantly praises Rohl almost every time he's brought up. There's a slew of reports that Moyes is very impressed with what Rohl displays in training.
The thing is some young players ( like Gerrard) suffer persistent injuries and then have a great career.
Look , I'm not saying Melin is in the same category as Slippy but I've seen enough to appreciate why Moyes wants to try to fully rehabilitate him.
I think he could be very good.....and if it doesn't work out we have the club's new official photographer.

Merry Christmas C and all.our other American friends
