Yeah I don't think or "quietly" hope Gana isn't still a name on the teamsheet.

Rohl - nobody knows. But that was still an investment that can't be written off yet, or even sold on if injuries do beat him.

Garner - hope he signs on the dotted line.

Just say Tim, Gana, Rohl and even Charly only having a year left on his contract.
Aren't seemed worthy by Moyes than we do need to look, but we would also have to move some of them on to free up cash/places.

Full backs and Striker have to been priority at the moment.

Just because of Afcon and injuries, midfield is not a serious issue. Its the strongest part of our squad.

But i think there needs to be a few outs and a couple of ins centrally.

Thats why I'm not writing off the Mainoo or Gallagher rumours. Lets see.

Would it be possible to recall Armstrong for the month of January? (will never call him by his first name to avoid deep rooted trauma) We have 5 PL games and an FA Cup tie in Jan with a paper thin squad.
Could get us over a hump while AFCON on and give injured players a chance to get back, if he isnt getting sufficient game time we could send him back to Preston at end of window. I know Preston wouldnt be happy with the disruption and would probably need to be compensated but needs must and all that.

Theres 3 positions to consider and I cant see Moyes using Armstrong as a starter so we've probably got 1 starter & 1 or 2 subs to add from existing players and new.

Are you purposefully ignoring current events and attitudes? There is an undercurrent of scorn towards Moyes over the perceived Dibling situation.
It's gotten so bad that the Tete almost signing and the McGinn overtures have been forgotten about completely and the axe to grind just keeps going...

Think we get another year from him gana imo, still feel that mid options limited as all very similar. Still neee a holdling mid for me would love another onana type in the midfield

If we had the money available and no possible PSR issues with spending it, than go for it.

I'd just rather know we were doing things right this time, more time spent scouting the right players, than possibly going tits up.

Spent loads in the Summer, club regularly say there's not much value in Jan, maybe we use loan slots but if nothing happened come Feb I don't anyone would be shocked.
