January Transfer Window 2026

A successful January window for me would be getting rid of McNeil and Patterson and bringing in a proper right back.
Think a few unwanted players need to go for cash for us to reinvest to be honest.

Unfortunately selling players ends up being just as important, although i have no interest in moving any of our top players on just for a head pat from the Sky 6 like Bournemouth & Brighton get

Imagine we had a finisher like this beautiful nut case with the squad we are building.
There must be a great natural finisher out there as yet undiscovered. @Zatara

For me:
There are 2 types of signings
Manager signings 'ready to go' e.g. a Moyes (similiar to Emery) signing: KDH, Grealish (Tielemans, Torres, Diaby)
Club signings 'young hopeful' which the manager will agree to work with e.g. Barry, Dibling and Anzou. (Garcia, Rogers, Moreno)
Success looks like getting that 2nd category to work..often it doesnt but sometimes it does

The end

We need a goal scoring forward much more than a right back imo.
There is a valid case to be made that we play far too narrow for our strikers to get the room to score. Both of our wingers like to cut inside. You need SOMEONE who can create the width and keep the midfield/defence honest with overlapping runs. That spreads to field, creates space and allows them to get better chances.
