January Transfer Window 2023

I can pretty much predict what will happen here. Thelwell will take the fall (even though he is only a part of this shambles) and will be gone way before the end of the season. The board will stay in post and the board will dispense with the DoF model and hand all power to Dyche. Because that's what Everton do when things get bad - they won't innovate, they'll go further backwards.

Calling it now.
Nah, they'll sack Dyche and Thelwell. They'll then appoint Moyes, who will have been sacked for relegating West Ham, and hand him all the power because everything was awesome in the noughties.

Laughing stock - other clubs, other club's fans, journalists, reporters, in fact the whole of football are laughing at us searching behind cushions for players with a few hours left.

The club knew they were selling Gordon regardless of who was in charge at the start of the window and did f.. all to strengthen the side.

They've been putting out phantom bids all month but clubs and reporters are refuting these as not true.

I feel sad for Dyche that he was that desperate for a job he accepted knowing we'd be going with what we've got, again.

Amazon have really missed a trick with us.

On the contrary, they`re waiting for next seasons opener.

First game, tricky away trip to Rotherham.

Travelling Everton fans, still protesting against the board, boost the attendance to over thirty thousand, for the first time ever.

Moshiri and Kenwright have set up home on a tax haven, in the middle of the Indian Ocean, whilst Denise has decided that working for UNICEF in Iran, is a safer bet than Finch Farm and Sharp, is now working as a Panda keeper in San Diego Zoo.

Sorry, isn’t dembele much better value at circa 10m (10m to include silly signing on bonus) leave additional 15m to buy another human?
The club doesn't want to bring anyone in, it's pretty obvious isn't it. Pointless looking at incomings they were never coming and these clowns knew it.

Don't know if people are 'blaming Dyche' as much as feeling frustrated with the appalling lack of vision behind his appointment. This could be said to be now playing out, as no one really wants to come to a club who are in disarray, at the foot of the table AND managed by Sean Dyche. It's not a tasty ticket.
Don't know if Dyche is at all a significant factor, tbh. Us being at the bottom of the league AND being a well known complete shambles from top to bottom and side to side are mainly to blame. Conceivably, us, doing a last minute switch of targets from Lampard players to Dyche players, potentially already talking to other clubs, is an aggravating factor. Not saying that having Guardiola as manager would help a tad, though.
