All of those clubs make more money than us, clearly. We lose £100m+ every year, our wage bill will dwarf theirs and our sponsorships are probably less lucrative than theirs. I also bet they’ve made more money from player sales than we have, because we barely make anything from that. It isn’t simply a case of comparing transfer fees out, that’s not how FFP works.

That shows that at the end of 2021 season we were minus 130M... That was 18 months ago and since then we have spent nothing that hasnt been offset with sales, and we have had lots of income with ticket sales, sponsorship, tv money etc... We have also offloaded quite a few of the big earners.
