Everton should simply have bought a club a few years ago mate. It's not hard. In fact it's actually very sensible.

Leicester did the same with a Belgian team. They use it as a place for the players to develop. It's a smart, modern way of doing things.

Everton are anything but smart and modern, though.
Au contraire...

Morning all

Here’s todays round up…… pretty grim times…..

Frank Lampard faces the “real possibility” of being sacked as Everton manager before taking on fellow relegation rivals West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday (21 January), according to the Daily Mail.

At the weekend, reports in the English press explained Everton are in talks with Atalanta to sign Duván Zapata on loan with an option to buy set at £15m (€17m). This claim is relayed by Il Giorno

Fabrizio Romano has said Chelsea will now no longer looking at Everton attacker Anthony Gordon after the Blues this weekend completed the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk.

Speaking to CaughtOffside, the Italian journalist revealed that the Blues are not interested in the Merseyside forward having just wrapped up a reported €100m (£88m) deal to bring Mudryk to Stamford Bridge, the biggest transfer of the January window to date.

talkSPORT’s transfer guru Alex Crook has some big updates for the January window in his Transfer Notebook…Everton are ready to turn to West Ham striker Michail Antonio to rescue their sorry season.

Everton are in deep trouble and they have a little over a fortnight to chop and change the squad. If the Toffees are to stand any chance at surviving a relegation battle, they will need attacking reinforcements. Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma is an Everton target but the Merseysiders face stiff competition.

Everton transfer target Anthony Elanga is ‘appreciated’ by the club’s hierarchy, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has informed GiveMeSport. The 20-year-old has struggled for game time at Manchester United this season following the arrival of Erik ten Hag and could make the switch to Goodison Park this January as a result.

Back in December, The Athletic revealed that due to financial restraints, Everton are paying particular attention to the loan market for this winter transfer window.

Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Everton-linked forward Dango Ouattara, according to reports. The Toffees have been linked with Ouattara as they seek attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window. The 20-year-old has plundered six goals and recorded six assists for Lorient this season. But FootMercato suggests that Bournemouth have agreed a €27.5 million deal with add-ons to sign Ouattara.

I dont think I have ever seen a side so desperate for some fresh faces to come in and lift the place. For the love of god get some decent players in now.
But the boss can’t be arsed to sack FL who is the problem as well.

Leicester, Wolves, Brighton and Soton.

Last time Everton lost 4 in a row at home was in September 1958.

Shouldn't have spent 30m+ on McNeil and maupay in the summer then should he the fraud

The idiot who decided to do these deals has to be sacked immediately. KT or whoever.
It's actually about £55m invested if you include wages of (let's estimate) £50k each for 4 years. Absolutely pathetic business.
