I said last night if we are that skint sell Pickford for fifty or sixty million if we can get it or even thirty five, invest in three or four quality players may be the only way to gamble. Something has to give we do nothing we are down.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had someone who could reliably deliver a good free kick or corner? If you have someone that can do that, you always have a chance of picking something up. Maybe we should just bin off our current wingers and pick up a slug from the lower divisions. They don't have to be dynamic in any way like Ward-Prowse, just someone who can kick the ball well when they need to.

James Rodriguez scored 6 and assisted 4 in 24 games for us. Wand of a foot.

Really gutted we never got to see him at Goodison due to COVID.

We are crying out for someone like ward prowse...creativity, leadership qualities and good passing/shooting ability...we have no one in our squad like that. Lampard thinks that garner is that player but not sure about that. Iwobi on a good day, not happened often this season, can provide some creativity...but he is not consistent enough.
