I think he would have been fine under Abramovich, but like us Boehly has created an environment and a squad that is never going to challenge for top 4. I mean he was trying to throw 50m at us for Gordon. He might actually be more clueless than Moshiri!

We’re nothing like Chelsea as a club or a team. They have some of the very biggest names and egos in football, a coach coming from where potter has come from was always going to find it difficult dealing with and being respected by players like that. Moyes had the same issue at united. If he’s given time to implement his methods and win people over/bin people who don’t buy in then he may be successful there, but it always seemed a strange move to make and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was sacked soon.
