Goals per 90 is a useless stat.

Like utterly pointless.

We are a team that needs goals, Cunha for example has scored ZERO goals this season, whether hes played 9000 minutes or 90, hes of no use to us, based on his recent goal scoring record.

Defender stats don't matter. If you're leading the league in blocks you're also leading the league in letting players shoot which is bad defending.

Our defense is going to regress at some point (it's already started a little) and people will act shocked. It shouldn't be shocking.

Im not shocked, our defending has been very poor recently.

I mean it's not though because people who actually know what the numbers say have never thought we were good at defending. So if it does go that way it'd be stats being useful.

Stats being useless would be us actually conceding under 40 goals.

No I was talking in general.

Tarks isn't good. He's not bad either. But for me his stats are so high because he's a reactionary defender. A good one, but that carries a lot of risk that I'd prefer my defenders didn't have. Maybe instead of trying to block shots you could just mark the guy so he can't get the ball in shooting positions? Just a thought.
