I think how it works is competent football clubs ensure that doesn’t happen. I mean we’ve had 31 days to get one in , it’s not like we missed one phone call and that’s us done .

We tried hard, but were unable to sign players due to many factors, such as the poor weather during January, poor foreign exchange rates, good training performances from current players, a lack of respect from fans, and unfair negotiating tactics from selling clubs.

Ultimately it is better to sign no one than sign the wrong players and we need to have only the right characters in the group for Sean Dyche. The money can be reinvested in the summer when we will be able to push on.

Moshiri is clearly skint without the sanctioned Russian money, so the 45m for Gordan is clearly needed to pay the high wages of the current players and board, never mind the new stadium.
