We will need at least a CM. We really need far more but that is the absolute minimum. We can't have any of this "we won't bother because it's hard work" rubbish. It's such a disgraceful attitude.

We need to utilise the loan market again as we did it well last season.

Would like to see us go for Foden at CM - really rate that lad.

I still don't think a striker will come in, unless Tosun is sold. We certainly need a CB and a CM though, but who can we realistically attract, given our league position? Our best hope would be 2 players who need game time to get in their national teams for the euros, even if its just on loan

....hopefully, but Gomes gives the team possession quality none of the others possess. That void will need filling.

...I think Gbamin offers that dimension, but without them both it’ll be a struggle. Silva will have to find something that works, perhaps using Iwobi in a deeper role whilst making us harder to break down.

Ideal chance for him to be playing in a decent side and be in a position to take points off city's rivals
