It's easy to throw bids about at players you have no chance of attracting
Mate - to say we had no chance of attracting Sissoko is taking things a bit far. Didn't work out in the end (thankfully) but we were certainly in the mix. Would that getting done and a +30 net spend make you happier?

Think we have at least 30-50 to spend. More than that will likely need some sales.

Its not as simple as that tho is it.

Take Morgs for example, if we believe the meeeeja, WBA are also interested, as im sure a few others, its in Uniteds and infact Morgs best interest to make this deal take as long as it can, United get the chance to invite bigger bids and the player gets the chance to talk to different clubs and play them off against each other.

Its not as if we can ring United up and have him delivered the next day.
Your being silly if we are after him do you not think we have been in talks with him and his club for weeks, and told him our plans and were he fits into it,and he will know what his rewards will be,and that we need a early decision.

If you think we have no money then that's your opinion. All the signs are that we have money. The new regime spent £10M to get rid of the incumbent manager, £6M a year on the new manager, a shed-load on a director of football, and from the horses mouth we bid a huge amount for Koubilay. If we were skint we wouldn't have been able to buy Bolasie for a hideously over-inflated fee.
Having money and spending it is two different things. Personally I'd rather we spent it on players that the manager knows will enhance the first eleven, rather tan just numbers to swell the ranks.

Are you forgetting the 50m we received for Stones

Also all the other things you mentioned, Walsh/Koeman/Sacking Martinez could all be paid for with the Sky money that's coming

Right, so why should United give us an early decision?

If we believe the media WBA are desperate to bid more than anybody for him, why should United just agree to the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd bid?

To expand on this, Sissoko in the Summer, told us he would sign, in the meantime hes doing a deal with Spurs, using our interest to bump up his wages.

So, you're saying Moshiri has no funds to pump into Everton? A simple yes or no will suffice.

It then when the player pressures the club by telling them were he wants to go and were he won't be going come on mate.they want the player gone.
