The Jay Rodriguez of 3 seasons ago. Defo. Never recovered form after his ACL though and if Southampton are selling its because they've probably given up on him.

To sign new players we need to get rid of the deadwoods to free up wages. Well done to the club for getting rid of them and hopefully those who go out on loan's option to buy will be taken up by their respective clubs. Now it's time to sell McGeady.

Does anybody else think we've absolutely rinsed this transfer window? Anyone calling it a failure is mental imo.

It's been a great window, the only players Koeman has in training now are either the first 11-15 or youngsters fighting at the bit to be part of it, I'd imagine having the likes of Kone messing around on £50k a week wasn't good for anyone.
