EVERTON have invited Nicolai Larsen over to Merseyside for a trial match against Celtic.

David Moyes is keen to run the rule over the Lyngby goalkeeper as the Toffees have been keeping tabs of his progress in Denmark for some time.
Lyngby have confirmed they have allowed Larsen, 18, to head to England to apparently feature in a reserve team friendly on Monday but insist they are unaware if Moyes is lining up a firm bid.
Larsen is an Under-19 international for Denmark and will hope to do enough to earn a dream switch to the Premier League.
The teenager is viewed as one for the future who can eventually put pressure on the senior keepers at the club.

Will see him probably in 2014 if he signed.

haven't we got enough?

From todays, daily star who has us loaning four players , little bits about injuries returning too!

CASH-STRAPPED David Moyes is gunning for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos as one of four loan deals in the transfer window.

LA Galaxy striker Landon Donovan will join Everton early in January after work permit red tape has been sorted.

And Moyes is desperate to sign up more established stars with no chance of writing a beefy cheque for anyone because of the Goodison club’s financial restrictions.

Senderos, 24, is his first target after almost signing him in the summer for £2.5million – and Moyes is also scouring Europe and America for other top talent.

Moyes, still stricken by injuries to his top players, said: “The situation hasn’t changed regarding finance.

“But I feel we need to get players in. I have got one and I’m hoping to get another two or three.

“I’m working around the clock to see who I can bring in on loan. I would like to bring in a centrehalf if possible.

“That’s the priority for us but it’s a little bit harder at the moment fi nding anything else. I feel as if I can’t keep waiting on injured players to return. There are not a lot of loan opportunities but I have two or three I might be able to get.

“There are always one or two people who want to move players out.

“You don’t get a club’s best players on loan in January. You don’t get their best players on loan at any time. So we’re not daft in thinking that.

“We hope to add players who will help us. If they can help us win a couple of games here and there then
they will be doing their job.”

“At the start of the season we had 21 outfield players. Maybe four of them were injured and we were expecting to have them all back by August or September.
“The only one that has returned is Yakubu - and he will be off to the African Nations in January - so we need to add to the numbers we’ve got.
“We haven’t made a great deal of progress and, as always happens, you pick up injuries during the course of the season.

“We need at least three or four new faces in ñ but the reality is that they will all have to be loan signings."

“I’ve got two or three names I might have a chance of getting, but it won’t be a money deal.

“We’re having a tough time of it at the moment and I wouldn’t want to be relying on our younger players to get us through come the end of the season.

Moyes will put his future planning to one side to plot the downfall of high-flying Birmingham at Goodison
Park today, hoping one of his old targets doesn’t play the part of hero.

Keeper Joe Hart was brought to his attention when he was at Shrewsbury.

Moyes added: “He was someone we were watching but we didn’t take it up because his fee was probably more than we could deal with at the time.

“We were certainly keen on him but we missed out.”

Meanwhile, Moyes reckons Phil Neville and Victor Anichebe should be back by the middle of next month. Sylvain Distin should be ready to return in two weeks, with Joseph Yobo.

But Phil Jagielka and Mikel Arteta will have to wait until the end of February.
