Been on fire in the CL, 8 in 16 in Turkey, big 6 foot target man, bit of a donkey but works hard and has goals in him. Palace nearly signed him in the summer. Dunno how he'd do outside Turkey though.

We've made an enquiry about Jamie Vardy. We'll be looking elsewhere however, as Leicester are valuing a 31 year old striker (in Jan) at £40m. We do have other targets lined up that are 'exciting' however. No ideas other than that

We need to have a big clearout before we start reinvesting, not just because of finances but because the squad is bloated and full of deadwood. The players with a long term future at the club isn't exactly a long list.

It's time for Mirallas, Besic, McCarthy to go. At the very least they should be moved on. I think Sandro and Klaassen should probably be moved on too, but it does feel too soon to completely give up on them, but I just don't see anything from them.

I think McCarthy is a good player, and if he was ever fit. I would be looking at keeping him.
